ARK Educate supports teachers and students in cultivating and practicing an Innovation Mindset. Students learn to observe, identify and reframe problems, think critically, and collaborate. Our curricula situate these practices within the context of disruptive technologies shaping the future. By developing an Innovation Mindset, students become confident problem solvers with the skills to transform ideas into meaningful solutions that benefit their communities and the world.

ARK Educate is unique in the way we empower students to connect with the world. Our curriculum is grounded in technologically-enabled disruptive innovation, helping students understand the way the world is changing and evolving. Material is always linked to real-world relevance and problems that matter to students.  Students come to understand that innovation solves problems. 

Most importantly, we emphasize that these problems cannot be solved without innovators themselves. By positioning students as problem solvers, ARK Educate empowers their voices, builds critical thinking, and fosters collaboration, as they come to understand that their ideas and actions can shape the future.

We provide teachers with consistent support; from initial training in philosophy, pedagogy, and practice to year-round mentorship and guidance that help them bring the curriculum to life.

ARK Educate was founded by ARK Invest’s CEO, Cathie Wood. Our curricula are powered by original research from ARK Invest analysts in areas such as AI, robotics, genomics, energy storage, and blockchain. This collaboration ensures that students and teachers engage with accurate, forward-looking insights into the technologies shaping our world. In this way, the ARK Educate approach is unique in the field of education.

Teacher training and mentorship are central to our work. Before implementation, teachers participate in training sessions that are focused on our three guiding principles: Innovation Mindset, Problem-First Thinking, and Mediated Learning. Each of these is accompanied by practical strategies for classroom implementation. 

 The ARK Educate team provides ongoing mentorship, periodic check-ins, and, when possible, in-person observations to each teacher. We work in direct partnership with teachers, championing their growth as they build confidence, acquire resources, and cultivate an Innovation Mindset.

Through Problem-First Thinking, students explore real-world challenges that matter to them, naturally sparking curiosity and investment. Mediated Learning ensures every student’s voice is heard, empowering them to take ownership of their ideas and contributions. This blend of relevance, voice, and guided support creates classrooms where students are active participants and inspired innovators.

ARK Educate offers curriculum in a variety of flexible formats to meet the needs of different schools and classrooms. We provide in-depth, year-long programs on topics such as robotics, 3D printing, entrepreneurship, and autonomous systems. In addition, after-school enrichment programs are available as an extension or complement to in-school learning.

ARK Educate provides curriculum and implementation guidance, along with access to our Teacher Resource System (TRS). The TRS  provides a comprehensive suite of supporting materials, including example datasets, sample programs, and classroom resources. While ARK Educate does not provide equipment or consumables, we do supply curated materials lists with links to affordable, accessible options aligned with our curriculum.
